Why "Hibernate" doesnt work?
Hey guys, I got some weird thing. When I try to Hibernate my PC, i got it restarted, not Hibernated :/ Maybe you know why is this happening and how to solve this problem? Sincerely, Walkman123

Walkman - Which version of Windows 7 do you have installed? RC or RTM?The issue you mention sounds a LOT like a known issue in the RC whereby sleep or hibernation results in a BSOD and a reboot. Make sure you've got the most up to date drivers for your hardware installed. Make sure you've got the most up to date BIOS update for your motherboard. And make sure Windows 7 is up to date as well with the latest patches. If all else fails, you mayjust want to disable sleep/hibernation entirely for the time being.

Sometimes it is something running in the background which does this. Try to shutdown all daemons (a computer program that runs in the background) running before you hibernate.

I know this doesn't seem particularly helpful, but I want to mention that I am able to Hibernate Windows 7 RC 7100 (32 bit) quite successfully.-Noel

walkman - Did you check your drivers to make sure you've got the most up to date ones? Windows Update may not have the latest ones - sometimes you have to go to the manufacturer's site to get them.
